#critical injuries

A 51-year-old Kīhei man suffered critical injuries when he collided head-on into a vehicle while operating a scooter on Keonekai Road Thursday night. The incident was reported at 7:47 p.m. on June 26, 2025, approximately 202 feet west of Līloa Hema Drive in Kīhei.

On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 4:01 p.m., the pedestrian involved in Monday night’s accident on Dairy Road, succumbed to her injuries and died while at Maui Memorial Medical Center.   The pedestrian is identified as Artemis Kagel, 71, of Kahului.

One person is in critical condition and two others are in serious condition following an early morning accident on Maui today (Saturday, July 3, 2010).
