A 46-year-old Kīhei man died after being transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in a crash on Kuikahi Drive in Wailuku Friday night.

Two people are dead following an early morning traffic crash involving a pickup truck that collided into a parked car on the shoulder of North Kīhei Road on Maui.

A deadly crash early this morning in Waiehu claimed the life of a Maui teen. Maui police say it appears that speed, alcohol and lack of seatbelts were all factors in the crash.

A Wailuku woman suffered fatal injuries in a single vehicle crash on Waiehu Beach Road early this morning. Police have since identified the woman as Jamescy Akahi, 37, and say she was a passenger in the vehicle.
