West Side Go Green/White Goods Recycling event, Feb. 22

Mālama Maui Nui presents its Go Green / White Goods Recycling monthly event, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22, 2025 at Lahaina Civic Center.

Refrigerator and freezer collection offered for Lahaina residents in fire-impacted areas

To aid in the ongoing recovery of Maui’s wildfire impacted areas, the County of Maui Department of Environmental Management is working in partnership with Mālama Maui Nui to offer a free dedicated Refrigerator and Freezer Collection Event. The event is intended only for Lahaina-area residents residing within the restricted fire-affected zones. 

Canceled: Go Green Recycling in West Maui, July 16

Go Green Recycling is a monthly, appointment-required, bulky-item recycling event hosted by Mālama Maui Nui for residents of West Maui. July’s event will take place on Saturday, July 16 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 1870 Honoapiʻilani Highway, Lāhaina in the parking lot mauka/behind the Lāhaina District Court. 

Mālama Maui Nui’s Go Green Recycling Event Set for Oct. 16 in Lahaina

The County of Maui Department of Environmental Management announced that Mālama Maui Nui will host the next Go Green Recycling event on Saturday, Oct. 16, in Lahaina.

Go Green Recycling Event on Nov. 14: Appointments Required

The event allows residents (non-commercial) to responsibly dispose of the following bulky-items at no charge: Air Conditioners, Batteries (lead acid only), Bicycles, Washers and Dryers, Dishwashers, Microwaves, Refrigerators, Stoves, Tires (suggested $10 donation per tire), Water Heaters, Scrap Metal, and Electronics (TVs, printers, computers, monitors & associated cords only).

Pop Up Recycling Event Canceled

Go Green, a monthly pop up recycling event in Lahaina, has been canceled for March to “safeguard the health of our community in light of COVID-19,” event organizers announced today.
