There are four COVID-19 vaccine clinics offered at various pop-up sites around Maui on Saturday, May 1, 2021.

The clinics will be held on: Thursday, April 29 and Friday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the War Memorial Gymnasium in Wailuku; and on Saturday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mayor Hannibal Tavares Community Center in Pukalani.

The state Department of Health reports that there were 70 additional COVID-19 cases reported in Hawai‘i on Monday, including 42 on O‘ahu, nine on Maui, three on Hawai‘i Island, 14 on Kaua‘i, and two in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state. There were a total of 1,110 cases logged over the past two weeks, 205 of them in Maui County.

Additional opportunities to receive the single-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine at locations around the state will be announced in the coming days and posted on the registration page at hawaiicovid19.com.

The state Department of Health reports that there were 51 additional COVID-19 cases reported in Hawai‘i on Saturday, including 40 on O‘ahu, five on Maui, four on Hawai‘i Island, and two on Kaua‘i. There were a total of 1,078 cases logged over the past two weeks, 210 of them in Maui County.

Today, the agencies confirmed that a total of 15 cases of TTS have been reported to VAERS, including the original six reported cases.

There are no reports of anyone in Hawai‘i developing blood clots after receiving a Johnson & Johnson vaccine. People who received a Johnson & Johnson vaccine within the past few weeks should monitor themselves for symptoms and contact their healthcare provider if they experience a severe headache, abdominal pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath. #MauiNow

The Department of Health Maui District Health office is currently offering Moderna vaccinations to anyone 18-years and older on Maui.

This includes 28,080 doses of Pfizer vaccines, 27,300 doses of Moderna vaccines, and 11,900 doses of the newly approved Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
