Central, South Maui Road Improvement Projects Begin

There are several road improvement projects that begin this week on Maui. Both projects will involve closing down one lane and contra-flowing traffic around construction work during weekdays. Roundabout Construction Results in Temporary One-Way Traffic

A one-way traffic pattern will be temporarily implemented on one South Maui street because of ongoing roundabout construction. Starting on Monday, January 30, 2012, traffic on Piikea Avenue will only flow in the makai bound (downhill) direction.
