As the Founder for Roots and Reef Design Agency and co-founder of nonprofit Aloha Amplified, Nishikawa leads projects across community development, branding, websites, and user experience—helping mission-driven organizations communicate clearly and design tools that serve their communities well.

Three members of the Aloha Amplified, Inc. board were selected as featured speakers at the upcoming, Feb. 3, 2026 meeting of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset. Speakers will share highlights and plans for the upcoming Lights for Lahaina 2026 event, which is expanding into a two-day gathering. Board of Directors presenters include Wilmont “Kamaunu” Kahaiali‘i, Linn Nishikawa and Lori Nishikawa.

The community legacy project that will preserve messages, photos and reflections to be opened on Aug. 8, 2043 — 20 years after Lahaina’s path to recovery began following the 2023 wildfire.

An inaugural Lights for Lahaina & Light March is scheduled to take place on the evening of Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025. The free event provides a chance for the community to come together, inviting all to reflect on Lahaina’s past, celebrate its resilience, and move forward with hope into the future.

Linn Nishikawa & Associates, Inc. has been recognized with a 14th Web Excellence Award for its work on www.MauiNuiStrong.info, an online disaster-relief platform developed for the County of Maui. The project earned top honors in the Government category for its efficient and impactful response to the Maui wildfires.
