#Mana O Maui

Mana O Maui is now accepting scholarship applications from girls between the ages of 13-17 to attend  an upcoming Teen Surf Camp, hosted by Maui Surfer Girls, from June 27 to July 3, 2026. Mana O Maui is a nonprofit organization launched in 2023  to provide empowerment programs through Hawaiian cultural education,  adventure education, surf therapy and the healing arts.

Mana O Maui is now accepting applications for their free Surf-N-Turf Afterschool Program, a seasonal adventure experience designed to empower teens and tweens through outdoor exploration and cultural learning. Open to kids ages 11-17, this  unique program combines surf therapy, hiking, and Hawaiian cultural  practices to foster confidence, teamwork and resilience.

Mana O Maui is now accepting applications for full scholarships to attend a week-long, all-inclusive Women’s Surf Camp, hosted by Maui Surfer Girls, Jan. 18–24, 2026. These scholarships are dedicated to supporting Maui women who were deeply affected by the Lahaina or Kula fires of 2023 and who would  otherwise be unable to attend. Applications are open until Nov. 15, 2025, with recipients to be announced by Dec. 1, 2025.

Mana O Maui has introduced two programs aimed at empowering teen girls through outdoor adventure and cultural learning: the Surf-N-Turf Afterschool Program and a scholarship for a summer surf camp.

Mana O Maui has announced the launch of a scholarship program for its upcoming Soul Retrieval Surf Retreat, running from Sunday, Oct. 20 to Saturday, Oct. 26.

Maui Surfer Girls is helping individuals overcome fear, anxiety and negative self talk with two different surf therapy programs this May.

Mana O Maui was launched in the spring of 2023 with a mission to create and provide access to empowerment programs utilizing Hawaiian cultural education, adventure education, surf therapy and the healing arts for Maui County residents.
