Maui Flood Advisory extended to 4 a.m., Wind Warning until 6 p.m. at Haleakalā

The National Weather Service has extended the Flood Advisory for the island of Maui until 4 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024. A Flood Watch is also in effect until 4 a.m.

Maui Flood Advisory until 10:15 p.m.

At 7:06 p.m., radar showed heavy rain over parts of East Maui, with rain falling at a rate of 0.5 to 1 inch per hour, according to the NWS.

Flood Advisory for Maui Until 5 p.m.

At 1:57 p.m., radar indicated heavy rain over the slopes of the West Maui Mountains from Waiheʻe Valley to Kapalua.
