#Rotary Club of Maui

In collaboration with the Maui Food Bank, eight Maui Rotary clubs will collect non-perishable food items and cash donations for the Maui Food Bank. The drive is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Donations of food and funds will help provide safe and nutritious food to anyone in Maui County who is at risk of going hungry.

Maui Family YMCA has applied for a Certificate of Occupancy for the new West Maui YMCA Resource Center.  Renovations to the 6,500-square-foot facility located at  226 Kupuohi Street in Lahaina have been completed and have successfully passed all required inspections.  The Center is anticipated to open in mid-September.   

Kamakanoweo Kekauoha-Schultz was selected after advancing through local and statewide interviews representing the Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui.

Ted Faigle, District Governor of the 52 Rotary Clubs in District 5000 (state of Hawaiʻi) will make a visit to the 10 Maui Rotary Clubs between Nov. 5-14, 2024.

The Maui Preparatory Academy Rotary Interact Club has received the No Ka ʻOi Highway Hui Award from the State of Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation, Highways Maui District, for the club’s student-led contributions to the Adopt-A-Highway public service program on Maui.

The Rotary Club of Upcountry Maui will host its 8th annual “Rotary Helping Women” benefit tournament on September 9th to support Women Helping Women and The Maui Farm, crucial organizations providing assistance to victims of domestic violence and transitional housing.

The Rotary Club of Maui presented 10 chairs to Hale Makua Kahului for use in the Aloha Café dining room as part of a two-year beautification project.

The County of Maui is offering options for recycling Christmas trees and unwanted electronics this holiday season. Tree recycling is available at the five locations listed below.
