County announces amended sewer service status for several lots in West Maui
The County of Maui Department of Environmental Management’s Wastewater Reclamation Division announced that it has amended the Sewer Service Status for several lots near Aki St., Kaili Place and Puiki Place in Lahaina. The specified lots have gone from “red,” which indicates a property does not currently have active sewer service, to “green,” meaning the sewer service is active for the property.
Nighttime lane closures on Honoapiʻilani Highway from Kaniau Rd. to Keawe St. for sewer system project
The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation advises the public of nighttime lane closures along Honoapi‘ilani Highway (Route 30) beginning Monday, Feb. 26. Lanes will be closed from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. the next day, through Friday, March 1, in the vicinity of Kaniau Road to Keawe Street.

The Department of Environmental Management’s Wastewater Reclamation Division reminds customers that sewer user fees have increased by an average of 3% as part of Maui County Fiscal Year 2023 budget that went into effect July 1.
