Azeka Shopping Center is proud to welcome Angel Hands Charity as its newest nonprofit partner, now operating next to Bank of Hawaii at Azeka Makai. The organization brings a powerful mission to the center: providing foster youth, students experiencing houselessness, and families facing financial hardship a chance to attend prom.

Maui United Way’s 10th Annual Tools for School Drive shifted its focus this year to requesting supplies that were the biggest financial burdens to families.

Azeka Shopping Center — and tenants Nalu’s South Shore Grill, ekolu kitchen1279, The Sun Spot Maui and Island Art Party — are collecting donations for the Tools for School campaign now through July 24.

Maui United Way raised a total of just over $500,000 during this year’s “Live United” campaign, which will go toward 39 health and human services programs in Maui County.

Maui United Way’s 8th Annual Tools for School Drive with sponsorship from HMSA and Pacific Media Group took a different approach to address the emerging needs of keiki in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
