Postal job fairs on Maui, July 25
The Postal Service is hosting three job fairs on Maui on July 25 at post offices in Kahului, Kīhei and Wailuku, to fill rural carrier positions.
USPS recommends mailing to Mainland by Dec. 18 for Christmas delivery
The United States Postal Service suggests Hawai‘i residents mail their Christmas letters, cards and packages by Wednesday, Dec. 18 for First-Class and Priority mail headed to the Mainland US. Procrastinators have until Friday, Dec. 20 to send their holiday cheer to the Mainland US via USPS expedited Priority Express shipping service. USPS notes that these dates apply to mail received by each Post Office’s cutoff time.

An up to six-level state office building over a five-level parking structure is proposed for development on the site of the old Wailuku Post Office at 70 South High Street in Wailuku. The parcel is currently being utilized as a parking lot for the County of Maui with approximately 45 reserved stalls.
