Four MIL teams have qualified for the state girls soccer tournaments that kick off this week on Oahu.

Led by its senior backcourt tandem of Luke Williams and TJ Rickard, Lahainaluna beat Baldwin for the MIL D-I overall title.

Seabury cruised to a 54-22 win over St. Anthony as Phelan Pagano continued his hot shooting for the Spartans by finishing with a game-high 25 points.

Defending champion Baldwin and Kamehameha will be going all in with unbeaten MIL records tonight when they tangle in a 5 p.m. girls’ match at War Memorial Stadium.

Previously undefeated Seabury Hall suffered a 64-40 loss to Corona of California in the title game of the St. Anthony Invitational basketball tournament.

King Kekaulike beat Baldwin in four sets to earn the MIL’s remaining berth in the state Division-I girls volleyball tournament.

A dramatic win over Baldwin enabled Lahaunaluna to edge past the Bears for first place in D-I basketball.

Hawaii couldn’t overcome a huge size difference in a four-set loss to top-ranked Penn State, which extended its record volleyball streak to 101.

The seeding committee for the upcoming state football tournaments was not kind to MIL teams.

Lahainaluna clinched the MIL D-II title, while Baldwin posted a key win over King Kekaulike.
