The station was established in October, 1984 as the first radio station in Lahaina, and Hawaiʻi’s first Hawaiian Music FM station.

Meadow Gold Dairies is now recruiting participants for the upcoming 8th Annual Maui Meadow Gold Milk Carton Regatta. The competition takes place on Saturday, April 28, and is open to Maui Middle and High Schools.

A portion of South Kihei Road will be closed on Saturday morning, February 18, to accommodate the Parade of Whales. The parade is the official launch to 32nd annual World Whale Day Celebration hosted by the Pacific Whale Foundation.

Managing Director, Sherri Grimes said attendance on day one of the four-day event was slightly up about 100 people over last year–not including all of the volunteers and parade participants.

Pacific Radio Group hosts a Luminary Floating Ceremony on Saturday, April 16, 2011 starting at 5 p.m. until sunset on the shoreline and grounds of the Canoe Hale at Hoaaloha Park in Kahului.
