Lahaina Cannery welcomes the community back for its annual Chinese New Year Celebration on Friday, Feb. 20. This year, the enter rings in the Year of the Horse with an afternoon packed with a traditional performance, hands-on activities and family-friendly fun that captures the spirit of the season.

The Shops at Wailea invites the public to welcome the Lunar New Year with a cultural celebration on Thursday, Feb. 19. The afternoon will feature a traditional lion dance and martial arts demonstration by Oʻahu-based Au’s Shaolin Arts Society.

Wailuku First Friday returns on Friday, Feb. 6, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m., with a vibrant Chinese Lunar New Year celebration, highlighted by a traditional Lion Dance performance by Tao Style Martial Arts Academy. This free, family-friendly event brings together music, culture, food, art, and community in the heart of historic Wailuku Town.
