Credit Unions of Maui golf tournament raises $38,000 for Maui wildfire relief
The Credit Unions of Maui planned to host their annual Charity Golf Tournament on Aug. 12, 2023, to benefit local nonprofit, Hospice Maui. Considering the wildfires that ravaged areas throughout Maui, the event was cancelled, and in partnership with Hospice Maui, the $38,000 in proceeds raised was donated to the Credit Unions of Maui Wildfire Relief Fund, which has been providing essential resources to their members and those who have been impacted by the Maui wildfires.
A return to Maui for Haunted Hawaiian Ghost Stories with Lopaka Kapanui, Oct. 25

ARDA-Hawaiʻi refocuses its 19th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Maui relief efforts
Recognizing that the road to recovery and healing on Maui will be long, the American Resort Development Association, Hawaiʻi chapter (ARDA-Hawaiʻi) has refocused its 19th Annual Memorial Scholarship Golf Tournament to benefit Maui Strong. The tournament is scheduled to take place on Friday, Oct. 13, 2023, at Hoakalei Country Club on Oʻahu, with a shotgun start at 12 noon.
175 kids affected by Maui fires get new bikes, and more available through Krank Cycles
About 225 people showed up to a Krank Cycles event, and in a little more than two hours, all 400 donated bikes were assembled for children and adults affected by the Maui fires.
