Sen. Schatz Confirms Federal Eviction Moratorium Applies to All Counties

US Senator Brian Schatz today confirmed that the federal eviction moratorium applies to all counties in the state of Hawaiʻi. He Tweeted the information this morning saying he confirmed the news twice with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Hawai‘i State & County Employees Must Provide Proof of Vaccination, or Undergo Regular COVID-19 Testing

Governor David Ige today issued a 22nd emergency proclamation related to COVID-19 in Hawaiʻi that effectively requires all state and county employees to provide their vaccination status to their department, office or agency. If they cannot provide proof of vaccination by Aug. 16, they will be subject to regular COVID-19 testing.

Final EIS for Proposed A&B Water Lease Withdrawn Citing “Typographical Errors”

The reason provided for the withdrawal was that certain production-related (printing) errors and typographical errors occurred during finalization of the FEIS document. Upon completion of the appropriate revisions, the corrected FEIS will be refiled.
