Maui Wildfire Photos

Mahalo to all who sent photos and video from the Maui wildfire.  Below is a slideshow of the fire from around the island.  The fire burned an estimated 10,000 acres, forced evacuation of thousands in North Kihei and Maalaea, resulted in road closures and power outages as well as travel impacts at Kahului Airport.

Kehalani fire flare up: Roads in Wailuku Heights area reopened

(Update: 4 p.m. 8/9/10) Fire officials have called the flare-up extinguished at 3:00 p.m. An estimated one acre was burned. No injuries or damage to structures are reported.
