#Happy Valley Fire

Five people were displaced by a house fire reported Sunday afternoon on Mokuhau Road in Happy Valley on Maui.

Maui fire crews are battling a large fire at the top of Mokuhau Road in the Happy Valley area of Wailuku. Witnesses say the fire started at around 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 26, 2017 after what sounded like “a large power boom.”

Maui firefighters responded to a brush fire reported at Mokuhau Park in Happy Valley at 6:24 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, 2016.

The fire was located in an enclosed garage, which was part of a vacant building located at the corner of Kahawai Street and North Market Street.

Firefighters responded to a structure fire on Alani Place in Happy Valley today at 12:43 p.m.

The fire was reported at 3:15 a.m. on Holowai Place at a 900 square foot house. Crews from the Maui Fire Department had the blaze fully under control by 3:33 a.m.
