The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua is inviting guests and residents to experience a full slate of holiday events, dining experiences and wellness offerings throughout December.

The one-night-only, 21-and-over event offers guests an early look at the decorated Kaluanui Estate and the annual Hui Holidays Marketplace.

Montage Kapalua Bay is welcoming the festive season with a lineup of culinary experiences and celebrations for all ages. From Thanksgiving dinners to New Year’s Eve events, the resort invites the guests and locals alike to gather, dine and celebrate together overlooking the beauty of Kapalua Bay.

Each December, the stage at Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Castle Theater is transformed into a sparkling winter wonderland, as the Alexander Academy Performing Company’s team of volunteers moves in with the sets and costumes for Maui’s beloved, full-length “Nutcracker” ballet.

The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua welcomes a special holiday edition of the Kapalua Concert Series, featuring renowned hapa-Samoan artist Taimane. The complimentary event will take place on Friday, Dec. 6 from 6-9 p.m. at Alaloa Lounge, where Taimane and her band will bring the holiday spirit to life with a captivating performance.

The final day of the Camp Maluhia fundraising Christmas tree sale is Saturday, Dec. 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Live @ the MACC is presenting a free live streaming concert from The Maui Pops Orchestra at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 20. The orchestra will be performing holiday tunes including White Christmas, The Christmas Song, Winter Wonderland and Mele Kalikimaka.

To show how to gather safely for the holidays with ‘ohana, friends and co-workers, the Hawai‘i Department of Health has produced a new campaign called “How to Gather. For Real.” The campaign offers practical guidance that follows COVID-19 recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
