Minit Stop continues its long-standing partnership with Street Bikers United Hawaiʻi to support the 2025 Toys for Tots Holiday Toy Drive. Volunteers transformed the former Radio Shack at Azeka Shopping Center in Kīhei into a well-organized distribution hub for clothes and goods for children, from newborns to teenagers.

The 42 men and women of recruit class 22-01 took time out of their training schedules to collect more than 80 new toys, books, or games for the annual Toys for Tots toy drive.

Toy for Tots returns to the Azeka Shopping Center in Kīhei on Sunday, Dec. 12 from 9 a.m. until noon. For those that cannot attend the event, Azeka Shopping Center will be a drop-off location all month long with bins to collect unwrapped toys at restaurants and stores through Dec. 23. 

This Thursday, the Maui Brewing Company will be hosting a “Toys for Tots” Christmas toy drive. 

Anyone interested in donating new, unwrapped toys to Maui keiki in need can deliver them to the Azeka Shopping Center until Dec. 23. 

Walmart and The Salvation Army are joining forces to provide toys to keiki in need during the holidays with toy drive events at all 10 Walmart stores in Hawaiʻi this Saturday, Nov. 9. Each event in Hawaiʻi will run from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

$1,900 and 201 toys were collected at this year’s Paddle for Keiki event. Combined, this is enough to provide toys for more than 275 children in Maui County.

Last year SBU collected more than 45,000 toys and more than $36,000 in monetary donations, making the holidays brighter for scores of Hawaiʻi’s children.

Minit Stop collected over 800 toys and donated $13,662 as part of the Toys for Tots campaign in 2009. The goal this year is one toy and one dollar more than last year.
