12 Maui Burglaries Reported Feb. 19 to 25, 2012
Maui police responded to 12 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between February 19 and 25, 2012.
4 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Feb. 19 to 25, 2012
Three of the incidents were reported in Kahului, including one at Maalaea Farms on HC&S property. This is the same site were multiple vehicle break-ins occurred on Saturday, February 25, 2012. Vehicles stolen included (1) GMC; (1) Honda Accord; (1) Ford Ranger; and (1) moped.
16 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Feb. 19 to Feb. 25, 2012
The incidents included eight break-ins in Kahului–four of which were from HC&S property near the Hansen Road/Mokulele Highway intersection.
14 Maui Burglaries Reported Feb. 12 to 18, 2012
The incidents included four burglaries in Haiku, two incidents in Haliimaile, and one incident each in Kaanapali, Kahului, Makawao, Pukalani, Waiehu and Wailuku.

The incidents were spread throughout different districts including four incidents in Kahului, two in Kihei, and two in Wailuku. A variety of vehicles were stolen, including three Honda Accords, and two Toyota Hilux sedans.

The incidents included five break-ins in Kahului, and two incidents each in Kihei and Paia. Five of the break-ins reported involved Ford Ranger trucks.

Maui police responded to 6 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between February 5 and 15, 2012. The incidents included two burglaries in Kahului, and one incident each in Haiku, Paia, Spreckesville, and Wailuku.

The incidents were spread throughout different districts including five incidents in Kahului, four incidents in Lahaina, and two incidents each in Kihei and Waikapu. Eight of the vehicles have since been recovered.

There were a total of 5 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between February 5 and 15, 2012. The incidents occurred at the Hyatt Regency, Front Street Apartments, Costco, the Queen Kaahumanu Shopping Center and Dolphin Plaza.

Maui police responded to 8 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between January 29 and February 4, 2012. The incidents included two burglaries in Kahului, and one incident each in Haliimaile, Kula, Lanai, Napili, Paia, and Waiehu.

The incidents were spread throughout different districts including five incidents in Kahului, and one incident each in Kaanapali, Kihei, Kula, Lahaina, and Wailuku. Four of the vehicles have since been recovered.

The type of vehicles involved in the break-ins included 4 Ford Rangers, 3 Dodge vehicles (1 Avenger, and 2 Chargers), 2 Toyota vehicles (1 Tacoma, and 1 4Runner), and a variety of other cars.
13 Maui Burglaries Reported Jan. 15 to 21, 2012
The incidents included six burglaries in Kihei, and two incidents on Molokai. Ten of the incidents were classified as unlawful entry–the remaining three incidents involved forced entry into the residences.

There were two incidents each in Kihei and Lahaina, and isolated incidents in Kahului, Kula, and Pukalani. The types of vehicles taken included three mopeds, three automobiles, and one SUV.

The incidents included three break-ins each in Haiku and Hana–two of the incidents reported at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, January 11 at the Hana Hotel.

Isolated incidents were reported in Haiku at the Haiku Community Center, in Kahului fronting Hale Mahaolu Elua, and in Kihei on Hoano Place. The types of vehicles taken were all mopeds.
