Kahului Crime: Unlawful Use of Credit Card

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for the recent theft and unlawful use of a credit card in Kahului.

11 Maui Burglaries Reported May 27 to June 2, 2012

Maui police responded to 11 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between May 27 and June 2, 2012. There were three incidents in Haiku; and one incident each in Kaanapali, Kahului, Kaunakakai, Kihei, Lahaina, Maalaea, Paia, and Waiehu.

7 Vehicle Thefts on Maui May 27 to June 2, 2012

The incidents include three incidents in Kihei; and once incident each in Kahului, Lahaina, Paia, and Wailuku. Vehicles stolen included: (2) Honda – 1 Accord, 1 Shadow motorcycle; (1) Ford Ranger; (1) Taizhou motorcooter; (1) Kaitong moped; (1) Sayang moped; and (1) unknown moped.

7 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui May 27 to June 2, 2012

There were a total of 7 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between May 27 and June 2, 2012. The incidents included the break-in of a variety of vehicles in: (2) Lahaina, (1) Maalaea, (3) Makawao, and (1) Wailea.

21 Maui Burglaries Reported April 22 to 28, 2012

There were four incidents in Lahaina; three incidents each in Waiehu and Wailuku; two incidents each in Paia and Makawao; and one incident each inHaiku, Hoolehua, Kalaupapa, and Napili.

11 Vehicle Thefts on Maui April 22 to 28, 2012

Vehicles stolen included: (3) Toyota – 2 Tacoma, 1 Rav4; (3) Honda – 1 CRX dirtbike, 1 Accord, 1 Civic; (3) mopeds – 1 Yamaha, 1 Roketa Powersports Air R-50, 1 Zhejiang Xing Yue Vehicle Co.; (1) Isuzu Amigo; (1) Volkswagon Jetta.

7 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui April 22 to 28, 2012

The incidents included the break-in of vehicles in: Haiku, Kihei, Lahaina, Maalaea, Napili, Paia, and Wailuku. The break-ins involved: (3) Dodge Chargers; (2) Fords – 1 Ranger, 1 Fussion; (1) Hyundai Accent; and (1) Nissan Maxima.

There were two incidents in Paia and Waiehu; and one incident each in Haiku, Kaanapali, Kahului, Kula, Lahaina, Maalaea, Wailea, and Wailuku.

The incidents include three incidents in Kahului; two incidents in Kihei, and once incident each in Haiku, Kaunakakai, Kula, Lahaina, Maalaea, Napili, Pukalani, Waihee, and Wailuku.

9 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui April 15 to 21, 2012

There were a total of 9 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between April 15 and 21, 2012. The incidents included the break-in of three vehicles in Wailea; two incidents in Kihei; and single incidents inHaiku, Kahului, Maalaea, and Paia.

Cash Theft at Kahului Bank Under Investigation

Authorities from Crime Stoppers say the subject in the attached surveillance photo was observed taking an envelope containing cash from a counter inside the bank.

Purse Theft at Fun Factory Under Investigation

Authorities say an unattended purse was allegedly taken, and then returned to an employee at the business, after contents were taken from within.

Man Wanted on Maui For Outstanding Warrants

Authorities from the Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in locating Robert Keaupuni Low, Jr., 25, who is wanted by Maui Police Department on outstanding warrants.

Fraudulent Use of Credit Card in Kihei Investigated

Authorities say an unidentified female used a stolen credit card to withdraw funds from the First Hawaiian Bank ATM on Lipoa Street in Kihei during an incident on April 11, 2012.

Man Wanted For Questioning in Sail Theft at Maalaea Harbor

The public’s help is sought in locating Angel Augusto, 32, wanted for questioning regarding the theft of sails from a vehicle at Maalaea Harbor.

There were four incidents in Kahului, three in Kula, two in Wailuku, and one incident each in Kihei, Maalaea, Napili, Waiehu and Wailea.
