11 Maui Burglaries Reported July 8 to 14, 2012

Maui police responded to 11 burglaries over a seven day period, between July 8 and 14, 2012. There were two incidents each in Kihei, Kaanapali and Wailea; and one incident each in Hana, Kula, Spreckelsville, Waiehu, and Wailuku.

14 Vehicle Thefts on Maui July 8 to 14, 2012

There were a total of 14 vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between July 8 and 14, 2012. The incidents include four incidents in Kihei, and three incidents each in Kahului and Wailuku. There were also isolated incidents in Lahaina, Lanai, Maalaea, and Napili.

There were a total of 15 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between July 8 and 14, 2012. The incidents included the break-in of a variety of vehicles in: (2) Honolua, (1) Hana, (5) Kahului, (1) Kapalua, (1) Halawa, (1) Lahaina, (2) Maalaea, (1) Napili, and (1) Wailea.

Suspect Sought in Attempted ATM Break-in

Authorities say the individual depicted in the accompanying surveillance photo attempted to break into an ATM on Front Street in the early morning hours of June 1, 2012.

17 Maui Burglaries Reported June 3 to 9, 2012

There were three incidents each in Kihei and Lahaina; two incidents in Napili; and one incident each in Haiku, Hana, Kaanapali, Kahului, Kaunakakai, Lanai, Paia, Pukalani and Wailuku.

12 Vehicle Thefts on Maui June 3 to 9, 2012

Five of the stolen vehicles have since been recovered. Vehicles stolen included: (2) Honda Accord; (1) Subaru Legacy; (1) Toyota Tacoma; (1) Suzuki dirtbike; (1) Yamaha motorscooter; and (6) mopeds – various models.

There were a total of 9 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between June 3 and 9, 2012. The incidents included the break-in of a variety of vehicles in: (1) Haiku, (1) Kahului, (1) Kihei, (2) Lahaina, (1) Lanai, (1) Napili, (1) Waiehu, and (1) Wailuku.

Kahului Crime: Unlawful Use of Credit Card

Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying the person responsible for the recent theft and unlawful use of a credit card in Kahului.

Maui police responded to 11 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between May 27 and June 2, 2012. There were three incidents in Haiku; and one incident each in Kaanapali, Kahului, Kaunakakai, Kihei, Lahaina, Maalaea, Paia, and Waiehu.

The incidents include three incidents in Kihei; and once incident each in Kahului, Lahaina, Paia, and Wailuku. Vehicles stolen included: (2) Honda – 1 Accord, 1 Shadow motorcycle; (1) Ford Ranger; (1) Taizhou motorcooter; (1) Kaitong moped; (1) Sayang moped; and (1) unknown moped.

There were a total of 7 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between May 27 and June 2, 2012. The incidents included the break-in of a variety of vehicles in: (2) Lahaina, (1) Maalaea, (3) Makawao, and (1) Wailea.

21 Maui Burglaries Reported April 22 to 28, 2012

There were four incidents in Lahaina; three incidents each in Waiehu and Wailuku; two incidents each in Paia and Makawao; and one incident each inHaiku, Hoolehua, Kalaupapa, and Napili.

Vehicles stolen included: (3) Toyota – 2 Tacoma, 1 Rav4; (3) Honda – 1 CRX dirtbike, 1 Accord, 1 Civic; (3) mopeds – 1 Yamaha, 1 Roketa Powersports Air R-50, 1 Zhejiang Xing Yue Vehicle Co.; (1) Isuzu Amigo; (1) Volkswagon Jetta.

7 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui April 22 to 28, 2012

The incidents included the break-in of vehicles in: Haiku, Kihei, Lahaina, Maalaea, Napili, Paia, and Wailuku. The break-ins involved: (3) Dodge Chargers; (2) Fords – 1 Ranger, 1 Fussion; (1) Hyundai Accent; and (1) Nissan Maxima.

There were two incidents in Paia and Waiehu; and one incident each in Haiku, Kaanapali, Kahului, Kula, Lahaina, Maalaea, Wailea, and Wailuku.

Cash Theft at Kahului Bank Under Investigation

Authorities from Crime Stoppers say the subject in the attached surveillance photo was observed taking an envelope containing cash from a counter inside the bank.

Purse Theft at Fun Factory Under Investigation

Authorities say an unattended purse was allegedly taken, and then returned to an employee at the business, after contents were taken from within.

Man Wanted on Maui For Outstanding Warrants

Authorities from the Maui Police Department and Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help in locating Robert Keaupuni Low, Jr., 25, who is wanted by Maui Police Department on outstanding warrants.
