Lei Nāhonoapi‘ilani – Songs of West Maui
In celebration of newly-released songbook, “Lei Nāhonoapiʻilani: Songs of West Maui,” Maui’s best entertainers, vocalists, musicians, kumu hula, and hālau hula present their collective aloha for the wahi pana (special places) of West Maui, through mele, hula, and storytelling at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center Castle Theater, at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2019.

The Nisei Veterans Memorial Center announced the opening of its exhibit, The Forgotten War Revisited. The exhibit will be open to the public Monday Sept. 23 to Friday, Dec. 27, 2019 on Mondays through Fridays between noon and 4 p.m.

The Maui Okinawan Kenjin Kai, along with co-sponsor Queen Kaʻahumanu Center, will hold its Maui Okinawan Festival on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Eleventh Annual Paddle for Life Event Next Month
For the 11th year consecutive year, cancer patients, survivors and supporters will gather at Hanakaʻōʻō Beach and traverse the ʻAuʻau Channel to the shores of Mānele Bay on Lānaʻi.

Maui Sunday Market Announces September Entertainment Lineup
The Maui Sunday Market runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. every Sunday in the Kahului Shopping Center parking lot and features a variety of food and product vendors.
