Hawaiʻi’s Carissa Moore has much to celebrate today, earning her 4th World Surf League Women’s Championship Tour title, securing a spot on the USA Olympic team, and garnering a semifinal finish at the lululemon Maui Pro event at Honolua Bay.

Hawaiʻi’s Carissa Moore joins fellow surfer Caroline Marks in representing the USA at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where surfing makes its Olympic debut.

The team clinched the title after defeating the Kapaʻa High School warriors 21-10 at Oʻahuʻs Aloha Stadium on Friday afternoon. 

After a week on hold, the lululemon Maui Pro will run the first three rounds of competition on Sunday.
