Kaiser Permanente to Start COVID-19 Vaccine Appointments for 12+
Kaiser Permanente announced today that it will accept COVID-19 vaccination appointments for individuals 12 years of age and older starting Thursday, May 13, 2021.

The state Department of Health reports that there were 47 additional COVID-19 cases reported in Hawai‘i on Wednesday, including 30 on O‘ahu, eight on Maui, one on Hawai‘i Island, and eight in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.

US Small Business Administration: 2.7 Billion in Relief Funds Distributed to 21,000 Restaurants in First 9 Days of Program
The Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF), passed as part of the American Rescue Plan, has received more than 147,000 applications, requesting a total of $29 billion, from women, veterans, and socially and economically disadvantaged business owners. To date, a total of $2.7 billion of relief funds have been distributed to 21,000 restaurants since the Restaurant Revitalization Fund opened on May 3, 2021.
