New parking policies, rates to take effect July 1 for Wailuku Garage parking
Starting July 1, 2024, daily parking fees at the Wailuku Garage for Hawaiʻi residents will be free for the first two hours, and $1 for each additional hour, with a daily maximum fee of $8 per day. Paid parking rates for part-time residents and non-residents will be $1 per hour with a daily maximum of $10 per day.

The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation is alerting Maui highway users that the newly installed traffic signals in Wailuku on Main Street (Route 32) at its intersection with Church Street will operate in flashing mode from Thursday, July 20 through Sunday, July 23, 2023.

Full Detour for W. Vineyard Street between Market and Church Streets in Wailuku
West Vineyard Street will be fully closed between Market and Church streets starting on Monday, Dec. 14, 2020. The closure is expected to continue through January 2021.
Water Shut-Down in Parts of Wailuku on Tuesday, April 14
A portion of homes and businesses in the Wailuku area will have their water shut off from approximately 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The shut-down will affect all water services off of Church Street from Main Street to Vineyard Street. DWS customers along Church Street are encouraged to store water and adjust schedules as appropriate.
