Deputy Sheriffs assigned to the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport in Honolulu arrested a woman on Thursday, Aug. 25, for allegedly attempting to travel to Hilo with nearly two pounds of methamphetamine in her carry-on bag.

Officers recovered a loaded .22 rifle with four rounds of ammunition within the magazine, two rounds of ammunition, 9.70 grams of Marijuana, .21 grams of methamphetamine, and paraphernalia associated with the use and distribution of narcotics.

Maui police arrested a 47-year-old Hoʻolehua man on Molokaʻi following a traffic stop on Saturday that resulted in the initiation of a narcotic investigation.

As a result of the search, officers recovered: a .22 caliber bolt action rifle; two Mossberg 12-gauge pump-action shotguns; one 9mm semi-automatic pistol; 2.71 grams of crystal methamphetamine; 12.61 grams of marijuana; and other drug paraphernalia associated with the use of illegal narcotics.

A Maui man was being held in lieu of $150,000 bail on multiple drug charges, after a search warrant was executed on a Waiehu home last week.
