The 12th Annual Hawaiian Airlines Made In Maui County Festival concluded this weekend past with resounding success, according to event organizers, delivering two days of vibrant community gathering, spirited activities, and overwhelming enthusiasm for local products.

The Maui Chamber of Commerce is reminding the community that product vendor applications for the 12th Annual 2025 Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival are being accepted until the deadline of June 2.

CocoNene, the local brand known for its made in Hawaiʻi products, has expanded its presence at International Market Place on Oʻahu.  The Waikīkī expansion is part of rebuilding and recovery efforts after the Lahaina flagship store was lost in the West Maui fire in August of 2023. It also comes a month after the grand opening of their new store in Māʻalaea, Maui at the Maui Harbor Shops.

Maui Mall Village welcomes new retailer, Makaliʻi, to the center. The locally owned and operated small business sells Maui-made products, including T-shirts, earrings, necklaces, hats, stickers, and acrylic 3D Lites. The shop also sells Maui Strong products and Lahainaluna Athletics branded gear and accessories.

CocoNene’s Maui Biz Ornaments initiative, featuring collectible wooden ornaments of local businesses, channels 50% of sales directly to Lahaina businesses that were affected by the Aug. 8 wildfires.

Today marks Day 3 of the 22nd Annual Native Hawaiian Convention, taking place at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului.  The four-day event was moved to Maui this year to uplift its voices and people following the Aug. 8 wildfires.  

“We look forward to having the community come out to meet and shop with our Maui County vendors at this special in-person mini event. As they say, the third time is a charm.”

Since the festival was first held in 2014, this annual event has attracted over 60,000 residents and visitors in attendance, with 350+ participating vendors reporting over $3 million in total festival product sales, more than 205,000 products sold, over 1,500 new wholesale accounts secured, and over 7,000 new leads gained during the event. 

Although livestream and live interaction portions of the 7th Annual Virtual Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival concluded this past weekend, the shopping platform will remain open for the next year.

This week, the Maui Chamber of Commerce announced the product vendors who will be participating in their 7th annual virtual Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival, to be held virtually on Nov. 7 and 8, 2020.

Maui Kuʻia Estate Chocolate Inc. has reopened with a sweet opportunity for Hawaiʻi residents. The chocolate company is offering kama’āina and their families deals for in-person tastings at its retail store in Lahaina.

Maui County’s largest products show, the annual Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival got off to a solid start on Friday with a Wholesale Buyers Event.  The two-day festival continues with the Big Festival Day on Saturday, Nov. 2, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.

The 27th Annual Hawaiʻi International Tropical Fruit Conference starts in Hilo, then travels for mini-conferences in Kona, Maui, Molokaʻi, Oʻahu and Kauaʻi.

Businesses interested in participating in the 4th Annual Made in Maui County Festival are reminded that the deadline for applications is May 31, 2017.

The very first monthly Maui Made Sunday event takes place on May 1, 2017, at the Queen Kaʻahumanu Center. The event will return every first Sunday of the month

The 2016 Made in Maui County Festival generated more than $512,922 in product sales (compared to $416,000 in 2015 and $300,000 in 2014).

A list of the top 20 Made in Maui County Festival product vendors in regards to their sales was released today.

Made in Hawaiʻi and made with aloha, Hawaiʻi truly offers products from the heart, capturing a priceless value that expresses the essence of the aloha spirit and the beauty of its maker.

The “Big Festival Day” will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. TODAY. Public admission is $5 at the gate, children 12 and under are free. Festivities include product demonstrations, a fashion show, food trucks, and prize drawings. The first 2,000 attendees will also receive a free Festival tote bag.

The Mayor’s Office of Economic Development and the Maui Chamber of Commerce host the 3rd Annual Made in Maui County Festival, scheduled to take place TODAY AND TOMORROW at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului.
