June 2 deadline approaching to apply for 2025 Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival
The Maui Chamber of Commerce is reminding the community that product vendor applications for the 12th Annual 2025 Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival are being accepted until the deadline of June 2.
CocoNene opens new store at International Market Place after loss of Lahaina store
CocoNene, the local brand known for its made in Hawaiʻi products, has expanded its presence at International Market Place on Oʻahu. The Waikīkī expansion is part of rebuilding and recovery efforts after the Lahaina flagship store was lost in the West Maui fire in August of 2023. It also comes a month after the grand opening of their new store in Māʻalaea, Maui at the Maui Harbor Shops.
Makaliʻi opens retail store at Maui Mall Village
Maui Mall Village welcomes new retailer, Makaliʻi, to the center. The locally owned and operated small business sells Maui-made products, including T-shirts, earrings, necklaces, hats, stickers, and acrylic 3D Lites. The shop also sells Maui Strong products and Lahainaluna Athletics branded gear and accessories.
Hawaiʻi brand CocoNene raising money for fire-affected businesses with holiday initiative
CocoNene’s Maui Biz Ornaments initiative, featuring collectible wooden ornaments of local businesses, channels 50% of sales directly to Lahaina businesses that were affected by the Aug. 8 wildfires.
Day 3: Native Hawaiian Convention
Today marks Day 3 of the 22nd Annual Native Hawaiian Convention, taking place at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului. The four-day event was moved to Maui this year to uplift its voices and people following the Aug. 8 wildfires.

2021 Vendors Announced for Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival
Since the festival was first held in 2014, this annual event has attracted over 60,000 residents and visitors in attendance, with 350+ participating vendors reporting over $3 million in total festival product sales, more than 205,000 products sold, over 1,500 new wholesale accounts secured, and over 7,000 new leads gained during the event.

Although livestream and live interaction portions of the 7th Annual Virtual Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival concluded this past weekend, the shopping platform will remain open for the next year.

Maui’s Largest Product Show Attracts New Vendors
The “Big Festival Day” will be open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. TODAY. Public admission is $5 at the gate, children 12 and under are free. Festivities include product demonstrations, a fashion show, food trucks, and prize drawings. The first 2,000 attendees will also receive a free Festival tote bag.
