Maui junior golfer Kyle Trudell of Kula captured the boys 11-12 division title at the Hawaiʻi State Junior Golf Association | First Tee – Hawaiʻi (HSJGA | FTH) Tour Championship, held Dec. 6–7 at The Club at Kukuiʻula on Kauaʻi.

Kahului resident Anson Cabello has punched his ticket to the Sony Open in Hawai‘i after winning the Hawai‘i State Golf Association’s amateur qualifying event at Waiʻalae Country Club on Monday.

Mauiʻs Reagan James Miles of Kīhei won the Boys 15-18 division of the 2024 Oʻahu Junior Championship held this week on Oʻahu.

Maui’s Reagan James Miles of Kīhei won the HSJGA Boys 15-18 State Championship, held July 1-2, 2024 at Hawaiʻi Prince B/C golf course on Oʻahu.  It was the second state title for the 18 year old Miles, who also won the 2018 HSJGA State Championship at age 12. 

Twenty teams from 16 states have traveled to Maui to compete in the 2023 Kā‘anapali Classic and raise money for Maui’s wildfire victims, including Kā‘anapali Golf Courses’ own associates who lost everything.

Volunteers are needed for the 2024 Sentry Tournament of Champions as it returns to the Plantation Course at Kapalua in January. 

Lahaina Junior Golf Association appoints Jason Gilbert as its new Executive Director, entrusted with expanding fundraising efforts, managing coaches, overseeing tournaments, and administering the scholarship program.

Zoe Campos of UCLA held the lead to take home the Individual Trophy; and team Pepperdine earned top honors in the 2023 ʻĀnuenue Spring Break Classic at Kā’anapali.

The University of Hawai‘i will host the ninth annual Anuenue Spring Break Classic at Kā‘anapali. Fourteen women’s college golf teams from eight states will compete over three days on Maui from March 27-29, 2023 at the Royal Kā‘anapali on Maui.

Led by Dillon Jonke’s silver medal performance, Maui Prep battled Kā‘anapali’s strong winds and fast greens to secure their first-ever HHSAA Boys Golf Championship.

Powered by a final round 64 on the Kā‘anapali Kai Course, Raya Nakao’s (Punahou) two-day score of 131 (-9) set a new scoring record in the 2022 Hawaii High School Athletic Association (HSAA) Girls Golf Championship sponsored by the David S. Ishii Foundation. Nakao’s performance surpasses Stephanie Kono’s 2006 record (136) by five shots.

The Sentry Tournament of Champions features new fan activations and expanded food options at the Taste of Maui and FanTime on Nine when the event returns to The Planation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 5-9, 2022.

It’s often said in golf that day two is “moving day” and there was quite a bit of movement on the leaderboard, Saturday. Carson Griggs of Denver shot an impressive 62 (-9) on the Royal Kāʻanapali Course to move up 12 spots going into the final round at 130 (-12).

Hugo Townsend of Boise State fired a 64 (-7), one stroke ahead of Loyola Maryland’s Brandon Berry (-6). Team Boise and Kansas both finished at 268 (-16) today after having solid rounds throughout their team. Team Colorado is three strokes off at 271 (-13).

English, Morikawa, Davis, Glover and Power will join 25 other TOUR winners on Maui when the 2022 event returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua in January.

Renner Chumley, a 9th grader at Maui Preparatory Academy, is headed to the IMG Junior World Golf Championship in San Diego, California, July 12-16, 2021.

The 2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions raised $526,760 worth of donations for more than a dozen Maui nonprofits this year.
