6 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Dec. 23 to 29, 2012

There were a total of 6 vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between December 23 and 29, 2012. The cases include one incident each in Haiku, Kaanapali, Kahului, Lahaina, Napili and Wailuku. Two of the stolen vehicles have since been recovered.

10 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Nov. 18 to 24, 2012

The incidents include two incidents each in Kahului and Kihei, and isolated incidents in Kaluakoi, Kula, Lahaina, Makawao, Pukalani and Wailuku. Four of the stolen vehicles have since been recovered.

11 Vehicle Break-ins on Maui Nov. 18 to 24, 2012

There were a total of 11 vehicle break-ins reported on Maui over a seven day period between Novemer 18 and 24, 2012. The incidents included the break-in of a variety of vehicles in: (6) Kahului, (2) Lahaina, (1) Lanaʻi (1) Spreckelsville, and (1) Wailuku.

California Woman Reunited with Ring Found on Maui

The ring some how ended up on Maui and was found in the dirt along a roadside in Happy Valley six months ago. The woman who found the ring turned it into police after attempts to find its owner through the Lost and Found pages on Craig’s List went unanswered.

Police: Maui Man Charged in Death of Co-Worker

The charges stem from a verbal and physical altercation reported on Monday night, November 12 on Napilihau Street near the rear parking lot of the Napili Plaza.

Authorities say an unknown female attempted to use a stolen debit card from the purse to withdraw money the following day from an ATM machine at the Bank of Hawaii in Lahaina.

Bascar is described as 5-feet 7-inches tall, weighing 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He also has a tattoo on the left side of his neck.
