The public is advised of a water quality exceedance of enterococci at “Teen Challenge” located near Mile 14 of the Honoapiʻilani Highway in Olowalu, Maui. Levels of 306 per 100 mL have been detected during routine beach monitoring, exceeding threshold levels of 130 enterococci per 100 mL.

Surf is expected to be in the 6 to 10 foot range, rising to 8 to 12 feet on Wednesday, and building further into Thursday, according to the NWS.

Fire officials say a 27-year-old woman from San Francisco, California was injured in a 25-foot fall. The woman landed on rocks adjacent to a pond and was unable to walk out on her own.
