This series of events includes the annual Hāna Community Winter Show which features community groups and Hāna School class performances; hosting a holiday photo booth for free professional family portraits; and hosting a holiday craft booth at the Hāna Farmer’s Market.

Logan Kalawaia, Ta’aroa Nui Halau and Nā ‘Ohu will perform, along with roaming Christmas carolers and free ʻukulele lessons with Uncle Arlie at the holiday celebration at Maui Ocean Center.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Maui invites cookie decorating enthusiasts to join its holiday contest from Dec. 5-11, supporting local youth mentoring programs.

Seabury Hall has rescheduled its annual Seabury Hall-iday event to Tuesday, Dec. 5, due to the kona low storm forecasted to impact Maui on Thursday. Event hours are still 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. It was originally scheduled for Dec. 1, but was postponed due to the inclement weather forecast.

Imua Family Services welcomes Maui’s children and their families to its third annual Keiki Holiday Festival on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Will Smith Imua Discovery Garden in Wailuku.

Holiday cheer is on its way to Kapalua. All are invited to experience the magic of the festive season as The Ritz-Carlton Maui, Kapalua hosts its Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Friday, Dec. 1 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.  

For entertainment this week on Maui, there are performances by the Great American Jazz Piano Competition finalist Jeff Hellmer & Friends, three-time Nā Hōkū Hanohano winner Kevin Brown and Maui Prep actors in Beauty and the Beast, as well as a Winter Craft Fair and the 50th Maui County Senior Fair.

The 2023 Festivals of Aloha culminates this month with the 21st Richard Ho‘opi‘i Falsetto Contest on Saturday, and events next week on the island of Molokaʻi.

For entertainment this week on Maui, there’s the Maui Veterans Day Invitational Kayak Clash, the 21st Annual Falsetto Contest, a free performance by The Voice contestant Jason Arcilla, debuts of Makana’s song “Lahainalalo,” and a recital by classical pianist Mahana Teave as part of a Wildfire Benefit Concert Series.

Lōkahi: A Celebration of Maui featuring Lukas Nelson, Jack Johnson (Solo & Acoustic), Nathaniel Rateliff, Paula Fuga, Lily Meola, with family and friends Donavon Frankenreiter, Promise Of The Real and more performing live at Maui Arts & Cultural Center – A&B Amphitheater/Yokouchi Pavilion on Sunday, Dec. 17, 2023. This event welcomes all ages.

Join fellow paper crafting enthusiasts on Nov. 18 at “Creativity for a Cause” to assist Stampin’ Up demonstrators who lost their homes in the Lahaina wildfires.

Holoholo Kaʻa 2023, also known as the “Touch A Truck” event, will take place on Nov. 5, providing an opportunity for people of all ages to interact with emergency vehicles, heavy machinery, construction rigs, farm equipment and more.

Tour operators and guides will have a chance to participate in Maui Mauka Conservation Awareness Training at Keālia Pond National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center on Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 9 a.m. to noon.

The 10th Annual Hawaiian Airlines Made In Maui County Festival will offer a complimentary shuttle service to and from the Maui Arts & Cultural Center on Saturday, the main day of the event.

For entertainment this week on Maui, multiple Grammy winner George Kahumoku and Jazz Maui are back in West Maui, the 10th annual Made-in-Maui Festival features more than 125 vendors and the University of Maui College hosts an Arts & Resilience event and Touch a Truck for kids.
