The Oʻahu Canoe Racing Association announces the 73rd crossing of the Kaiwi Channel, where more than 110 crews battle in the Molokaʻi Hoe World Championship canoe races, presented by the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority.

The Hawaiʻi State Senate is urging PGA officials to find a home for The Sentry in Hawaiʻi after last week’s announcement that the tournament would not hold the event at the Plantation Course at Kapalua in 2026. The decision comes after 27 years on Maui and was attributed to “ongoing drought conditions, water conservation requirements, agronomic conditions and logistical challenges.”

The Maui Chamber of Commerce today released a statement in response to the PGA Tour’s announcement that The Sentry, the season-opening event of the PGA Tour, will not be held at the Plantation Course at Kapalua in 2026. This difficult decision was made due to ongoing drought conditions and severe water conservation requirements impacting the island.

The Finance Factors Foundation is proud to announce its 11th Annual Finance Factors Foundation Charity Golf Tournament, set for Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025 at Hawaiʻi Prince Golf Club, with proceeds benefiting Child & Family Service (CFS), a Hawai‘i-born nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families and fostering the well-being of individuals across the state.

Toyota Hawai’i has sponsored NFL FLAG Football in Hawai’i, a no-contact youth football league for boys and girls ages 4 to 17 with more than 2,000 active participants. It provided branded gear to five leagues across the state, including Maui Police Activities League on Maui.
