Wailea Tennis Tournament to benefit Maui firefighters

Tennis players are invited to register for the Wailea Fall Doubles Tennis Tournament, scheduled Nov. 9-11, 2024, at the Wailea Tennis Club. Benefitting the Maui County Firefighter’s Relief Association, the weekend sports event includes two days of doubles and mixed doubles action at the Wailea Tennis Club plus a silent auction and players dinner party featuring a buffet, open bar and live music.

A projected swell for the weekend could see competition get underway with the event needing three days to run.

55th Annual Maui Marathon to return to West Maui in 2025

The Maui Marathon Committee today announced the return of the Maui Marathon to Kāʻanapali in 2025. The 55th annual event, which includes the 26.2-mile race along with the Half Marathon, 10k and 5k Run/Walks, will take place on April 27, 2025.

Monday Morning MIL: Seabury Hall’s Yu, Maui High’s Arisumi win air riflery titles

Arisumi successfully defended her girls MIL individual crown, while Yu’s gold medal is his first win in four years of competing. The MIL will send 13 girls and 12 boys to the state tournament Oct. 29 on O’ahu.

Maui’s Hazel Peters earns one of five titles at the 2024 Maui Junior Championship at Wailea Blue Golf Course

The Hawaiʻi State Junior Golf Association | First Tee – Hawaiʻi (HSJGA|FTH) conducted the 2024 Maui Junior Championship at Wailea Blue Golf Course this past weekend, Oct. 12-13. The 36 hole event drew a total of 48 junior golfers from across the state.
