Hawai‘i will receive $26,992,923 in new federal funding to support grants under the Native Hawaiian Education Program. The funding was awarded to 23 Native Hawaiian educational programs across the state. 

The Realtors Association of Maui reports that healthy housing demand and limited inventory will continue to create “significant tailwinds” in the near term for the housing market.

The company is proposing a 40-megawatt, 16-MWh battery storage system on approximately 1.8 acres at a company-owned site near the Central Maui landfill.
