The state Department of Transportation continues roadwork on the Hāna Highway near Wailua Valley State Park in East Maui. There’s also a lane closure on the Hāna Highway in Haʻikū near Papaʻaea Road for ongoing retaining wall work.

Man Critically Injured On Maui When Firework Explodes in Face

At 12:06 am, 30 year old man was severely injured when an unknown type of firework reportedly exploded in his face and knocked him unconscious.
