The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands offered 37 turn-key lots in Kapolei’s Kanehili subdivision on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019.

Montage Residences Kapalua Bay announced the debut of a limited collection of three-bedroom oceanfront residences for sale, ranging from $2.7 to $3.8 million.

The meeting agenda includes a review of item AH-24, “Kaiaulu o Kupuohi Apartments Project in West Maui (Formerly Known as Kai Mauka Ike Nui).” Also referred to as the “Star Noodle project,” the planned 84 rental units are being developed by Ikaika Ohana below the Lahaina Bypass along Kupuohi Street.

While number of sales are down for homes, condo and land on Maui, the median prices all went up, $740,000, $522,000 and $495,000, respectively.

The Kalama Kai project is located 200 feet from the beach on Kanani Road and features mostly three-bedroom units, totaling 844 square feet each.

The first five months of the year in the real estate industry is such a busy time and the market has slowed down a bit as the number of condo and land sales on Maui are down vs. 2018.

The median price of a single-family home on Maui dropped to $705,000 in May according to the latest monthly report filed by the Realtors Association of Maui.

While home, condo and land sales are all down for April 2019 YTD, the median sales prices for each type of property is up, $750,000, $516,000 and $495,000, respectively.
