This special dinner aims to celebrate and support two organizations: Maui Nui Botanical Gardens and Hui Noʻeau Visual Arts Center. Each will be recognized for their efforts in nurturing connections to Hawaiʻi’s natural ecosystems through artistic expression and stewardship of native species.

Hui Noʻeau Visual Arts Center proudly presents “Sally French: Welcome to My World’” a retrospective exhibition highlighting the prolific and influential career of celebrated Kauaʻi artist Sally French. The exhibition will be on display from March 21 to May 16, 2025, with an opening reception on Friday, March 21 from 5 to 7 p.m.
Hui No‘eau seeks Maui County high school juniors and seniors for Ka Ulana ‘Ie Junior Cohort program
Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center is offering a new opportunity for Maui County high school juniors and seniors: Ka Ulana ʻIe Maui Junior Cohort with Kumulāʻau and Haunani Sing. Ka Ulana ‘Ie Maui Junior Cohort will engage up to 20 Maui County high school students in a 3-month intensive ulana ‘ie cohort.
Maui Public Art: Makawao Sculpture Project on view through July 2024
In April 2024, sculptor and architect Matthias Neumann created an 8 x 8 x 11 foot sculpture on the front lawn of the Makawao Public Library inspired by the story of Hui Mo‘olelo participant Kim Thayer of Mauna Kahālāwai Watershed Partnership and Scott Fisher, Director of ʻĀina Stewardship at Hawai’i Land Trust.
