The Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunrise will collect school supplies and funds for children in need from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 1-2  at the entrance to the Lahaina Cannery next to Longs Drugs.

Lahaina Rotary clubs will collect school supplies and funds for children in need on July 26 and 27. The collection effort will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the entrance to the Lahaina Cannery Mall next to Longs Drugs.

The funding will help provide trauma recovery and disaster preparedness programs for students at Lahaina Intermediate School, Lahainaluna High School and other impacted Lahaina schools.

Maui Healing has been awarded a $3,600 grant from the Rotary D5000 Foundation to support group therapy sessions for women affected by the 2023 wildfires.

Between Thanksgiving and Christmas, the Rotary District 5000 Foundation Maui Fires Relief program distributed $60,000 in Foodland and Walmart gift cards to Maui fire survivors.

Five members and friends of the Rotary Club of Lahaina Sunset visited the third-grade classes at Princess Nāhiʻenaʻena Elementary School on Monday to engage in an ethics activity.

After learning of a need for dictionary books at the new Kūlanihākoʻi High School, Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Kīhei Wailea and Lahaina Sunset donated 35 dictionaries to the school’s English Department.
