This week on Maui, a musical tribute to Gutsy Women honors Women’s History Month, An African American dance company shares its drumming roots, and Maui Arts & Cultural Center has its annual gala fundraiser. Coming up fast are the Tony Award winning musical Kinky Boots, Maui Pops Orchestra’s music of the Roaring ’20s, and a historic play reviving the memory of Hawaiʻi’s Prince Kūhiō.

Entertainment, auctions, gourmet food and fine wine tasting will highlight “Maui Calls,” the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s signature fundraising gala, beginning with a silent auction Monday, via https://mauiarts.ejoinme.org/MauiCalls. The 26th anniversary Maui Calls event will take place 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 9.

Tables and tickets are now available for the annual Maui Calls, Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s signature fundraising gala, and food & wine tasting event, which was rescheduled for March 9, 2024 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the A&B Amphitheater and Yokouchi Pavilion. The event was supposed to be held in August 2023, but was postponed due to the Maui wildfires.

The 25th anniversary edition of Maui Calls, the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s signature fundraising gala, takes place on Saturday, Aug. 17, from 6 to 10 p.m.

Tickets are now available for the 24th Annual Maui Calls, Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s signature fundraising gala event, which will take place on Aug. 18.

Tickets for Maui Calls, the annual fundraiser for the Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC) are now on sale. This year’s theme is In Celebration of Hula.

Celebrate the boat days of old Hawai‘i at Maui Calls—The Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s 21st annual gala fundraising event, on Friday, Aug. 14, at 6 p.m. in the Yokouchi Pavilion.

From culture to music and theater, Maui has it all this weekend. There’s a falsetto contest being held in conjunction with the Maui Festivals of Aloha, a youth ʻukulele contest in Kāʻanapali, and a throwback concert featuring rock favorite America.

The Maui Calls annual gala fundraiser for the Maui Arts & Cultural Center, which had been postponed from August 8 due to hurricane and tropical storm Iselle, has since been rescheduled to take place on Saturday, Sept. 27 starting at 6 p.m.

The MACC has announced that Maui Calls – scheduled for this Friday, Aug. 8 – is “being postponed due to impending Hurricanes Iselle and Julio.” A new date will be announced.

The FIRST ANNUAL MAUI BREWERS FESTIVAL is slated to come to a head Saturday, May 30 on the Events Lawn of the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.  The event runs from 2:30- 6:30 pm.
