MEDB seeks applicants for Ke Alahele Education Grant
Maui Economic Development Board is seeking applications from educators and students for its Ke Alahele Education Grant. Thanks to the generosity of over 350 Ke Alahele supporters at MEDB’s August fundraising dinner and auction, MEDB expects to give awards of approximately $3,000 on average in the spring 2026 semester.

126 Molokaʻi students participate in STEM Day

Maui High School to receive $10 million endowment from anonymous donor
A Maui High School graduate has committed a $10 million endowment to the Maui High School Foundation, a gift that is likely the largest endowment ever to be made from a graduate to a Hawai‘i public school. This is the largest single monetary donation in the school’s history. The donor has chosen to remain anonymous.
