Nov. 30, 2021 COVID-19 Update: 79 New Cases

Of today’s 79 cases, there were 66 cases identified as confirmed, and +13 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 23 on O‘ahu (+13 probable); two on Hawai‘i Island; 12 on Maui (-1 probable); 25 on Kaua‘i (+1 probable); and four Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.

Hawai‘i Convention Center to Fully Reopen Exhibit Halls in January 2022

The Hawai‘i Convention Center will fully reopen its Exhibit Halls for meetings and events in January 2022. Throughout the pandemic, the Center provided space for unemployment claims processing, COVID-19 contact tracing, and vote counting during elections.

Nov. 29, 2021 COVID-19 Update: 71 New Cases

In Maui County, the seven day average for new cases daily is 15, with a 1.8% test positivity rate over 14 days. This is +3% from Nov. 14 to Nov. 27, 2021. For every 100,000 residents in Maui County, there have been an average of 8.8 newly reported cases per day over the last seven days.

Department of Health Announces Rebirth of Hawai‘i Immunization Registry

The immunization registry is a statewide information system that stores and tracks patient immunization records for 25 diseases including vaccinations for polio, tetanus, measles, mumps and now COVID-19.

Update/Postponed: Mahalawa Bridge Work to Disrupt Hāna Highway Traffic
