The Shops at Wailea is hosting Wailea Wednesdays, a free weekly live music series, and a concert by multiple Grammy winner George Kahumoku Jr.

‘One Love Lahaina’ event with music and skateboard jam on Jan. 13

The second One Love Lahaina free community event will take place on Friday at Citizen Church Maui with live music, a skateboard jam, giveaways, food, free-skating and fun for all ages.

Music Studies and the Institute of Hawaiian Music at the University of Hawaiʻi Maui College present Grammy Award-winners George Kahumoku, Jr., Daniel Ho and Tia Carrere in a live performance, talk story, and question and answer session. The performance takes place at the Ka Lama Building, Room 103, on the UHMC Kahului campus on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024 at 12 p.m. The show is open to the public.

Off-Broadway musical ‘Daddy Long Legs’ comes to ProArts Playhouse on Maui

The musical is based on the classic novel by Jean Webster who also was the creator of “Les Miserables.”

The MACC presents free community screening of BON-UTA documentary

The Maui Arts & Cultural Center presents a free screening for the Maui community of the documentary, Bon-Uta in the McCoy Studio Theater Sunday, Jan. 28 at 3 p.m. The event is free to the public but pre-registration online only at MauiArts.org is required beginning at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9.

7th Annual Maui Songwriters Festival, Jan. 6-13, 2024

The 7th Annual Maui Songwriters Festival kicks off Jan. 6 with a concert at the Maui Arts &. Cultural Center featuring Old Dominion. The festival, which runs from Jan. 6-13, 2024, focuses on giving back to those impacted by the Maui Wildfires by raising money through ticket sales to a VIP Benefit on Jan. 7 and an Auction at a finale event on Jan. 13.
