The 2022 Prince Kūhiō Maui Ho’olaule’a happens in person, Friday, March 25, 2022, from 3:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Queen Ka‘ahumanu Center. The event is free and open to the public and features free keiki activities, workshops, Hawaiian music and hula.

2022 Merrie Monarch Festival to sell Hōʻike tickets starting March 15, in-person

Hōʻike Night is usually free to the public, but in consideration of the long lines that event goers usually encounter, and health concerns related to COVID-19, event organizers have decided to sell tickets this year for $5 each.  The sale is for Hōʻike night tickets only; not competition nights, which are not being sold to the general public.
