Lāna‘i Stay-at-Home Order to be Lifted, Transition to ‘Safer At Home’ Starts Nov. 12
Mayor Michael Victorino announced today that Maui County has received approval from the Governor to issue a “Safer At Home” order for Lānaʻi residents and visitors, beginning Thursday, Nov. 12.
Made In Maui County Festival Shopping Platform to Remain Open Year Round
Although livestream and live interaction portions of the 7th Annual Virtual Hawaiian Airlines Made in Maui County Festival concluded this past weekend, the shopping platform will remain open for the next year.

Drive-through COVID-19 testing will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hāna Ball Park in East Maui.
Nov. 10, 2020 COVID-19 Update: 78 New Cases (62 O‘ahu, 5 Maui, 4 Hawai‘i Island, 7 Out of State); 1 Death
There were 78 new COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i today, including 62 on O‘ahu, five on Maui, four on Hawai‘i Island, and seven in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed outside of the state. The cases on Maui included two each in Kīhei and Wailuku and one Haʻikū.
Waikapū Park Complex Improvements to Close Park Nov. 16 to Sept. 2021
Improvements and expansion of the Waikapū Community Center are planned, along with the replacement of ball field irrigation and other park upgrades. The construction work will require closure of the Waikapū Park Complex from Nov. 16, 2020, through Sept. 12, 2021.

Puppies Found in Sealed Container Left Outside Maui Shelter
The Maui Humane Society reports that six puppies were left on their property in a plastic storage container with the lid sealed closed with duct tape.
