Three additional monkeypox cases identified in Hawaiʻi, bringing total to 11

Of the new cases, two individuals are Oʻahu residents with at least one having a connection to a previously reported case on island. The third individual is a non-resident who was diagnosed on Kauaʻi and whose case is associated with travel outside of Hawaiʻi.

Maui County to receive more than $1.2M to repair Awalau Road following storm last year

US Senator Brian Schatz (D- Hawai‘i) today announced that Hawai‘i will receive $1,262,000 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency to repair Awalau Road from damages caused by a March 2021 storm and landslides.
