Department of Water Supply set to seek community input on water planning
As part of implementing its 2022 Water Use & Development plan for Maui Island, the Department of Water Supply will hold community meetings in six regions to assess water needs and to facilitate discussions about drought, reliable water supply and wildfire risk.

Helene Hall Restrooms in Hāna Closed Dec. 23 to Jan. 18
The Helene Hall restrooms in Hāna will be closed starting Monday, Dec. 23, 2019, and reopen Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, for the cleaning and repair of the facility’s aerobic treatment system.
Work to Upgrade Helene Hall in Hāna Slated Oct. 1
Construction work to improve Hāna’s Helene Hall will begin Oct. 1 and continue through November, according to the county’s Department of Parks & Recreation.
