The state Department of Health reports that there were 113 additional COVID-19 cases reported in Hawai‘i on Sunday, including 80 on O‘ahu, 16 on Maui, three on Hawai‘i Island, nine on Kaua‘i, and five in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state. There were a total of 1,162 cases logged over the past two weeks, 181 of them in Maui County.

Special Agents Conduct Quarantine Compliance Checks at 3,200 Hotel Rooms

Since August 2020, Special Agents of the Hawaiʻi Department of the Attorney General’s Investigation Division have conducted quarantine compliance checks to ensure traveler compliance with COVID-19 emergency rules. The checks were conducted at 3,200 hotel rooms, primarily at Waikīkī hotels.

J&J Vaccine Clinics This Week on Maui

The clinics will be held on: Thursday, April 29 and Friday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the War Memorial Gymnasium in Wailuku; and on Saturday, May 1, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mayor Hannibal Tavares Community Center in Pukalani.
