4 New COVID-19 Cases on O‘ahu: Hawai‘i Total Now 685

There are four new COVID-19 case reported on Oʻahu today, pushing the statewide count to 685 cases in Hawaiʻi over the course of the pandemic.  The state Department of Health reports that due to updated testing information, one case was removed from the previous Oʻahu count.  To date, 622 people (93.1%) have recovered including 113 in Maui County. There are currently 46 active cases in the state.

Hawai‘i Legislature to Reconvene 2020 Session on June 22

The Hawaiʻi State House of Representatives will reconvene the 2020 legislative session on Monday, June 22.  At that time, the Legislature will take up a limited number of bills, including budget matters, COVID-19-related legislation and police reform measures.

Hawaiian Airlines Announces Kama‘āina Member Exclusive Sale

Maui Hospital Begins Universal Testing, Single Person on Maui with COVID-19 in Home Quarantine

As of yesterday, there are no COVID-19 cases at the Maui Memorial Medical Center, and there is currently only one person in home quarantine with the virus, according to new information provided today by Maui Mayor Michael Victorino. Also, starting today, the Maui Memorial Medical Center begins universal testing for COVID-19 on all patients admitted through the Emergency Department and Obstetrics patients.
