Maui Ola benefit concert raises nearly $1M for Lahaina community in wake of wildfire disaster

In the 24 hours since the broadcast of  “Maui Ola: A Benefit Concert for Maui,” donation portals, including Maui United Way, Hawaiʻi Community Foundation, Hawaiʻi People’s Fund and the Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement, received nearly $1M in donations toward Maui aid.

Three fundraisers are being held on Maui on Saturday and several more are scheduled in the near future — including benefit concerts on Oʻahu and in Tacoma, Wash. — to benefit people affected by the Maui wildfires.

Duo Diorama concert fundraiser for Maui relief, Aug. 19

Ebb & Flow Arts presents Duo Diorama – Minghuan Xu, violin, and Winston Choi, piano – in a concert at Keawalaʻi Congregational church in Mākena on Saturday, Aug. 19, with donations raised to support Maui disaster relief. Lahaina Keiki Relief Fund Concert to support displaced Maui youth
