Postponed: Live @ the MACC Presents Hawai‘i’s First Youth Poets Showcase
The event will include performances by the ten youth poet finalists, appearances and performances by several special guests and culminating in the announcement of the young poet selected to be the state’s first youth poet laureate, a title never before granted to a young person in the state.
Virtual “Art at the Capitol” Returns, April 14-16
The virtual event will feature short videos of state senators and representatives discussing artworks in their offices. In addition, artworks and art education information will be projected onto the construction walls facing Punchbowl and Beretania streets of the State Capitol from dusk to 10 p.m. for the three days.
